Our staff membership is for contracted staff at the University of Lincoln.

*Terms & Conditions Apply – Any staff member with a peak membership (monthly, termly & annual) is entitled to receive a UNIversal Gym Membership card. Please note: off peak memberships are excluded from the scheme.

New to the University?

If you are a new permanent employee at the University of Lincoln, you are entitled to a free 14-day trial of our UoL fitness membership. For more details please contact Lee Gray, our Health, Fitness & Wellbeing Manager via email or on 01522 835272. Please note, all free trials must be activated within 30 days of your employment start date.

Salary deduction

Salary deduction membership is available to;

  • employees who are paid by the University of Lincoln

If you pay via salary deduction, the annual or monthly payment is taken from your salary after tax and national insurance.

Please note, when you pay via salary monthly deduction you may cancel the membership at any time with one full calendar months’ notice.

Please note, annual paid in full memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Cancellations may only be made under these criteria.

All memberships require a Health Commitment Statement (HCS) to be completed and an access fob to be purchased to gain entry into the facility.

All of our memberships are available to purchase in store at our main reception counter or online. Follow the link below to access our online Sports Centre Shop to view all our membership and fitness centre offers.

Direct Relatives – Linked Memberships

Staff fitness members may add up to 3 direct relatives to their membership at any one time. These family members will pay the same annual / monthly membership fee as the staff member. The current sports and fitness member must be present upon purchase.

Please print the two relevant forms (staff application form and peak or off-peak), complete and send to the Sports Centre and payroll, or contact the Sports Centre Reception on 01522 886688 for further information. Once all the paperwork is complete, staff members will be issued with a staff card.
